Chances are, you or someone you know has Asperger Syndrome.

We know you want to ensure that support and services are available to everyone touched by AS. We do too! That’s why we are participating in the Scotiabank Toronto Waterfront Marathon (STWM) Charity Challenge!

We want to foster acceptance of Asperger Syndrome while raising much needed funds for the ASO so that we can continue to provide help to the thousands of families and individuals across Ontario touched by Asperger Syndrome.

We want you to join our Charity Challenge in this year’s STWM!

Support the ASO! Run, walk, fundraise, donate! Make every step count! When you run with your heart, you always cross the finish line a winner!

Not a runner or a walker? That’s okay! You can support our cause by making a donation. Just click on the button below and donate to help us reach our $50,000 goal!

This year, members of our Asperger’s In Action team who raise a minimum of $500 will have their registration fees reimbursed! It’s easy – register for the marathon, 1/2 marathon or 5K runs or walks, collect pledges from family, friends, co-workers and neighbours and join us on October 16th in Toronto for an amazing celebration of acceptance and community! Raise $500 and we’ll reimburse your registration fees!

Why support the ASO?

As the only non-profit organization solely devoted to serving the AS community in Ontario, we have been offering FREE services to individuals and families across the province for nearly 16 years.

We offer an ActionLine to help anyone with a question, concern or need relating to Asperger Syndrome, a website populated with service and informational resources specific to AS, and active social media sites where we share news and information about Asperger Syndrome. We also host social groups for adults with Asperger Syndrome and Parent and Caregiver Support Groups across the province.

We are an extremely efficient charity, void of most operating and overhead costs and with very minimal expenses. We aim to direct the majority of our funds to where it’s most needed – serving people affected by Asperger Syndrome and their families.

The ASO receives NO government funding and relies solely on donations and fundraising efforts to provide the services we do free of charge to the Asperger community… and beyond!

The Scotiabank Toronto Waterfront Marathon is a major fundraising event for the Society. Our goal is to raise $50,000 and we know we can do it with YOUR HELP!

Please help us to continue fostering acceptance of Asperger Syndrome and providing services and support across Ontario
