Website - Access to Entertainment Card

Through the Easter Seals, support persons accompanying a person with a disability to movie theaters are eligible for a significant discount on their ticket or–in some cases– free admission. The fee is only $20 for five years. Easter Seals is proud to have played a role in building an exciting partnership – some have called it historic partnership- with the disability community, Cineplex Entertainment, and the movie theatre industry. Together we have built a partnership that provides access to entertainment and recreational opportunities for people with disabilities, The Access 2 Entertainment Card. Since its launch in 2005 there are currently more than 40,000 card holders across Canada.
Who can apply? Persons with a permanent disability who require a support person when attending a movie or other attraction are eligible to apply for the card. There are no age restrictions. The applicant (or guardian) must agree to follow the terms and conditions (which can be found on the application form) when using the card.
