Temple Grandin’s View of Kindles and iPad – part 1 of 2 parts

Video - Temple Grandin’s View of Kindles and iPad – part 1 of 2 parts

Part 1 of 2 parts: Dr. Temple Grandin, author of The Way I See It and Animals Make Us Human, reviews several Kindle models and an iPad and finds the devices may benefit people on the autism spectrum with reading problems. She stresses that reading problems are highly variable, but in some cases the e-readers and tablet will work well. Of particular interest to Temple was the Kindle’s text to speech feature, and the ease of seeing what you type on the iPad. The interview was recorded at Colorado State University on April 30, 2012.
