 The Workplace Essential Skills Partnership (WESP)

The Canadian Council on Rehabilitation and Work (CCRW) is offering "The Workplace Essential Skills Partnership" (WESP). A dynamic employment program designed specifically to provide professionals, with disabilities, the up to date skills and support required to participate and / or advance in their career of choice. To be eligible for the program participants must be: A person with a disability or medical barrier to employment, Unemployed / underemployed (working a maximum of 20 hours / week), Working age,16 years and over, Resident of the Greater Toronto Area, Committed to a "full-time" job search. This 4 week, full-time curriculum is designed to tackle current issues such as: recession-proofing, professionalism, office etiquette and culture, effective communication, problem-solving, disclosure, and disability, job accommodation, employment equity, interview techniques, and many other important topics.
